An update about my library:
I have been using diigo more and more since we started the wiki project.
My library is now more than one or two websites. I am starting to really like having it up in my toolbar and use it quite often. I think I would need more time to really organize my library to start including it into my daily life and teaching resources, but do plan to continue using it!!
How has it been going for you??
Great start. Now keep adding resources for teaching math, and you will soon see how handy it is to use Diigo. Of course, if you're on Twitter using the #mathchat, you'll find plenty of links to resources, some of which you might want to add to your Library.
ReplyDeleteGood post. I, like you, have begun to use Diigo to organize online resources by topic. In the past I spent a bunch of time trying to relocate certain sites and charts when we were about to cover a topic, such as the electoral college, but now I have then readily available at my fingertips. This will save mu much frustration.
ReplyDeleteI am definitely still getting used to Diigo. I'm a Chrome user, so my bookmarks are portable, and I think that at first made it hard for me to see the need to transition. HOWEVER. I really, really like some of the features that are specific to Diigo (especially highlighting!) I need to keep building my library and playing around with the features a bit more, but I do see the value in using something like Diigo.
ReplyDeleteI can see that you are collecting alot of information about bullying. Are you making the anti-bullying page on our classroom wiki? If not, you should pass this info along to those who are. Great stuff!
